2.3. Controller Dial Wheel Settings

Settings on 3 wheels:
1. Mode = 5
2. Torque Time (max. 15 seconds) = 6
3. Hold-Open Time (max. 75 seconds) = 4

(1) Magentic MUB controller is running in Mode 5:

The barrier is opened by a pulse
and closes:
1. automatically after an adjustable hold-open-time
2. or immediately after the safety device has been passed
3. or after a closing pulse has been given

As safety device (an induction loop for example) must be installed under the barrier boom.
Closing is prevented as long as a vehicle is positioned in the detection area.

(2) Torque Time
Period for which the barrier motor has full torque, when time expires controller switches to low power consumption.

(3) Hold-Open Time
Time after which the barrier closes automatically if no vehicle has passed through the safety device.

3. Loop Detector

Loop Detector is connected to Controller and Induction Loop Wire.

Loop wire for induction 0.75mm2 to 1.5mm2 (20AWG to 16AWG)
